Work packages
There are 6 main workpackages with in the MEECE project. Please see individual Work Package pages for descriptions and further details of WP1-6.
Information exchange between MEECE workpackages
The relationship between the Workpackages and the Coordination Group are shown in the image below.
The exchanges between the workpackages are as follows:
1. WP1 supplies new process descriptions and parameters for model development in WP2. Feedback from WP2 to WP1 to inform the meta analysis
2. WP1 supplies forcing functions, initial conditions, validation data and likely scenario envelopes to WP’s 3 and 4. Feedback between the WP’s to iterate the scenario envelopes
3. WP1 provides database information to WP5 to inform the development of decision support tools and expert systems<
4. New process modules and model couplers will be supplied by WP2 to WP3 and WP4. Feedback between WP’s ensures the experience of regional modellers in using these tools informs the further development
5. Regional future climate time-slice scenarios supplied to WP4 for direct anthropogenic driver scenarios
6. Simulated marine ecosystem climate and anthropogenic responses delivered to WP5
7. Outputs of WP’s 1-4 WP6 for knowledge transfer activities
8. Outputs of WP5 supplied to WP6 for knowledge transfer activities
